In the Philippines, 1.23% of the entire population is either deaf, mute, or hearing-impaired. As of 2009, the projected deaf population is already at 241,624 for those who are totally deaf, and 275,9J.2 for those who are partially deaf. That means that at least 517,536 people currently have very limited access to media and information because of their hearing impairedness.

EyeHearYou uses a speech-to-text API as its main feature. Furthermore, it has a registration and login system, classroom and subject information, and its respective professors.

SPEECH-TO-TEXT API

A speech-to-text API is used in the application to gather speech and display them on the screen.

USER INFORMATION

A user can register and login so that they may have their personal informations set up within the class.

SUBJECT INFORMATION

EyeHearYou also displays the information about the subject and the class that the user currently has.
